Coins. I used to do everything, now I restict myself to early Chinese, and the various Euro circulation pieces. It is fun to see what you can find in your change!

Since I used to deal in used books, I also have a colection of dictionaries, about 300 of them, with some of the most unknown languages, but you got to be more than a little crazy to collect those.

I have several things that I collect:

*shotglasses from states that I visit, countries that friends visit, or special locations (Disneyworld, historical landmarks, etc.)
*cobalt blue glass items - figurines, coffee cups, animals, vases, etc.
*apples - apple figures made in a variety of materials, I have them made of wood, marble, crystal, clay, cloth... and one handmade in Russia! :)
*music boxes, especially ones that move, like a carousel and one with two children on a teeter-totter
*yellow rubber duckies - I've decorated my bathroom with them :)
*bald eagles - love bald eagles, I have them of wood, stone, crystal, pottery, etc., also have a tapestry, and I even found some eagle chimes! :)

I used to also collect angel figurines for our Christmas tree, but I'll be giving them to my daughter who just moved out on her own.

I've had friends and family that have collected angels, classic or first-edition books, stamps, cats (yes, live ones), figurines of horses, butterflies, and cats, Mickey Mouse Club memorabilia, candles, chimes, seascapes, magnets, spoons (from places they had visited).... You can collect most anything, just think of something you REALLY like or feel passionate about, and find a way that can be expressed in a physical form that you can buy or make. Enjoy! :)
