We are having an outdoor summer wedding in the evening next year, probably in the country on a farm (not with cows and pigs and chickens, that's just what we in the South call big pieces of open land in the country). lol

I am up to hearing ANY suggestions you have. Who knows, I might go with something I never would have thought of!

If it helps, we are wanting a somewhat country feel (not sunflowers and gingham check tablecloths), but maybe mason jars with candles in them. Something more old-timey and antiquey (is that a word?) lol

I love summery colors! My favorite color is BLUE and I know that I want some things to be blue. Maybe several different shades and tones of blue?

I REALLY like AQUA BLUE and TURQUOISE, colors that remind me of the ocean and beach, my favorite place in the world.

What are some other colors that I can use with aqua or turquoise or both?

Thanks for the help! Remember, I open to ALL suggestions!

I think pink or peach would go really nice with turquoise and aqua blue.

Beige really anything neutral. You could go for ivory, but I'd stay away from anything that resembles baby blue. That would be odd.

You could even do a pale yellow.

As I recall from my sister's wedding, she had ribbons along the pews which really weren't that expensive. You could pick wild flowers as decorations which would give you a country feel w/o being ho hum about it.

Traditional is great, but I would keep it simple. That way the day can be about your marriage and not all the details of the wedding.

I hope this helps. Good luck! :)

South huh? I'd use blue jean overalls with plaid shirts. The bridemaids keep both straps buttoned ushers only one. and bouquets of hay lends a nice touch. don't forget the bourbon.
