Turn the A/C to a higher temperature or off. Turn the heat to a lower temperature and wear a sweater. Caulk and weatherstrip. Don't turn on lights unless you absolutely need them. Don't open the fridge door as often. Put plastic over your windows in the winter to conserve heat. Get decent doors and windows if you're replacing them. Insulate walls, attic and crawl space. Wash dishes by hand and not with the dishwasher. Do larger loads of laundry and hang clothes outside to dry instead of using the dryer.
