I watched "My Parents' House" on HGTV. On "Bedroom Oasis" episode, they painted the bathroom a shade of wine. Here is the link of the photo. Can anyone help me with getting the exact shade of this room?

I have a wide variety of set-in stains in my porous kitchen countertop. Coffee, spaghetti sauce, kool-aid, just about everything stains this countertop! I swear landlords put white in an apartment on purpose so they can keep your deposit when you move out. Please help!

I am thinking about buying a house that is a wreak on the inside but I was thinking about renovating it to my liking.I would like to gut it out and everything. Has anyone ever done this, can you give me the final price you paid for everything? Also was it worth it, or would you have been better off buying a new house? thanks

We are about to try 'Weedol', but does anybody have experience in the use of this or anything else suitable? (and of course, legally available for use). I'm really worried as it's covering a tall unsupported wall and I can see it crashing down with fatal results if nothing is done rather quickly! As this is a serious question, NO TIME WASTERS PLEASE AND ALL DOPEY ANSWERS FROM THOSE WHO KNOW NO BETTER will be reported. I haven't got time to read a load of old nonsence. Equally, all helpful and serious answers will be acknowledged. Many thanks. Eb#

I am thinking about renting a rug doctor from the supermarket, but the machine is too big to clean under a bed about 1 foot above the carpet. Is there a hose on the Rug Doctor with an attachment that allows you to clean carpets under heavy furniture? Also please tell me some carpet cleaning companies that I can call to my house that do a great job. Thanks.

Did you lose everything you owned? Did the insurance company pay up? I'm just curious because in Central Texas, mold is a huge problem. Every house, in one neighborhood in particular, gets torn out and rebuilt. The insurance companies started dropping people a few years ago.

I am decorating a little boy's bedroom in the theme of a ship, & along with the nets, anchor, etc. I need a wooden beer keg (barrel type) to use as a bedside table. I would prefer to order it online if I can find where to do that at, but will travel to purchase one if I can find merchants thru-out the North Ga. mountains & down around Atlanta, Ga who carry the wooden kegs. Any input for both online and physical purchasing locations will be greatly appreciated. Diane
