Use a magnifier. They look rounded instead of coming to a nice sharp edge. You can also check it by feel.

They get dull pretty fast. If you have cut some trees then it could probably use a sharpening. That doesn't cost much, and makes a big difference.

It sounds like you're doing all the right things for a healthy complexion. Perhaps try speaking to a beautician or a beauty consultant (at a parlour of make up counter). They may be able to suggest products that are more effective than the ones you are using now. There are quite a few 'brightening' moisturisers on the market right now. My sister swears by Sanctuary - they have brightening cream and an oil that you apply at night. Make up can work wonders. You probably don't want to have to wear it all the time but for special occasions it is worth investing in a good foundation, bronzer and blusher. Lots of companies now make them with shimmering and light reflecting particles to enhance natural complexion. I think Bobbi Brown is really good (or if you're on a budget, maybe Loreal) because the make up lasts forever and they have a good range for all skin tones. You might also consider micrdermabrasion. It is a treatment where your skin is exfoliated using micro crystals. It is pretty commonly done in beauty parlours now and is not very expensive (about 40 GBP for a 1hr session). It is more effective than exfoliating with scrubs at home and lasts longer. Failing that you can try speaking to a dermatologist about a gentle chemical skin peel, though at your age I'm not sure that they would advise it.

By sight its more difficult. Best way is to cut through wood. A dull blade will cut slow and "bind up". While a sharp blade will cut "faster".

No problem at all. while looking at the blades of your chainsaw pl. think of the approx. usage that you have done and how you handled it and on what surface you can easily judge its life and if it is worn out you see it clearly if you are using it regularly.

You can't tell just by looking at them. You need to test it on something. What I suggest you do is start it up and try to cut someone's head off with it. If you can't saw through their neck easily, I would say you need to buy a replacement chain.

Ask the chain 'why did the chicken cross the road?' , its response will help u judge how dull it is.
