The tadpoles in my pool are small and black and brown and large.
There is a lot of algae in the pool that I thought the tadpoles would feed on.

My husband and I both love HOUSES. We've both done construction;I've been a superintendent twice for two major residential construction builders in my area, we have tools, I LOVE LOVE LOVE doing Interior Design (I'm quite confident in my talents), my husband LOVES redoing and making house plans (he plans to be an architect), we love business, we build our own furniture, and we love old/abused homes to remodel, fix up, and sell!! How and where and what do we do to get into this??

I dropped the hot iron on a red/rusty colored carpet. I managed to scratch it off but you can still see the shape where the iron burned the carpet. How can I camouflage this?

I thought of intentionally staining it with something but I don't know what. I can't cut it off and replace the carpet, I don't have extra carpet. I've done all the brushing over I could do.

Any advice please?

we want a ceiling fan for when its hot weather only. so we won't use it when the gas fire's on. I heard its dangerous for carbon monoxide. we are getting a detector/alarm anyway. there is a vent also. so do gas fires only give off carbon monoxide when they're on (we won't be using fan) or all the time? Help! Thanks

My landlord knows that my trailer needs new
floors because the current ones are rotting and someone could possibly fall through soon if they don't fix them but she just advised us that she's
going to be moving another newer trailer in next to where we are now.She had promissed me that me and my family could move into it.But today she told me that if I want it I would have to pay $400.00 to $450.00 depending on how many bedrooms it will have.Every one who lives
here pays $330.00 per month. How could she
tell me I will have to pay more.I feel like she is forcing me to stay in my current trailer with
rotting floors that I know she won't fix. What could I do in this situation?

I have just moved into a rather old house and after the first time I steam cleaned the carpets, and boy did they need it, the horrible smell of dog pee filled my whole house. The more I steam clean, the worse it gets. I've tried chemicals, deodorizer, carpet fresh, ect...and it just gets worse and worse. At this point I can hardly sleep, I've lost my taste for food, and I am constantly burning incense. Anybody have a solution besides tearing up the carpets? The landlord says that is not an option. Help please.
