The tadpoles in my pool are small and black and brown and large.
There is a lot of algae in the pool that I thought the tadpoles would feed on.

If you put them in a regualr pool the cleaning ingredients and chlorine will kill them. They like little pools of water that are slow enough running to attract dragon flies and bugs that they eat. If they are still alive like after fiver days and arent even starting to get legs or anything they arent tadpoles. Tadpoles change so fast that when I was a kid I'd stare at them for hours thinking I would actually see the little legs come out but they never do if you look at them they are worse then a watched pot.

Maybe those are not tadpoles. I thought I caught lots of tadpoles once in dirty creek near our house, it turned out to be small fishes that look like tadpoles.
