My landlord knows that my trailer needs new
floors because the current ones are rotting and someone could possibly fall through soon if they don't fix them but she just advised us that she's
going to be moving another newer trailer in next to where we are now.She had promissed me that me and my family could move into it.But today she told me that if I want it I would have to pay $400.00 to $450.00 depending on how many bedrooms it will have.Every one who lives
here pays $330.00 per month. How could she
tell me I will have to pay more.I feel like she is forcing me to stay in my current trailer with
rotting floors that I know she won't fix. What could I do in this situation?

She promised you could move in, I didn't hear anything about "at the same rate of rent". Of course the new place is going to cost more, it's newer. She probably wants to dump the old trailer anyway, which is why she doesn't want to invest anymore money into it. A place near me just moved in some new homes, the rent doubled. Move out or pay the new rent. Most moved out, but stayed for months until they were evicted.

As for forcing you to move, she certainly can, it's call an eviction, and you can be evicted even if you are paying your rent.

I hate to say it, but even at 450, that's cheap rent.

What can you do?
Move.
Stay there and do nothing.
Stay there and complain some more (if you have a lease, you can bet she won't renew it!).
Offer to have the floors repaired yourself in lieu of rent.

You CANNOT just start deducting repairs from your rent at will.

Do you have any kind of WRITTEN rental agreement?

Fall thru the floor - on purpose - and then sue!

Just kidding!!!

The condition you describe sounds potentially un-safe. If you feel you must stay there - b/c of cost, location, whatever - call for advice from a legitimate outside agency that deals with similar housing problems. Most jurisdictions have a housing advocacy that does exactly that and these are no cost to you.

Move to an apartment. The laws are a lot more specific for landlords there and the price isn't too much higher. Plus, threatening to move might cause your land lord to buck up and take some action

Search for a website regarding Renter's Rights. Landlord's can charge pretty much what they want within reason. I don't know which state you live in, but I'm in Southern California and rents in the amounts you discuss haven't been that low since back in the late 70's.

Apartments rent for $900-$1,900 and houses rent for $1,400-$2,800 and up!!!

She cannot force you to move, and she has to fix your floors.

I'm not sure about trailer park landlord/tenant rules, but you could do repair and deduct. Inform her in writing that you're going to have the floors repaired, and that you will withhold the cost of the repairs from the next month's rent.

She is technically blackmailling u to stay in your current trailer. Even though she should not do tht, if u didnt sign any contract before hand it would be hard to bring her to court. What i advice you to do is negotiate with her properly. Afterall negotiation power will be your only weapon in life. Remind her about her promise, dont lose your temper as that what she wants you to. Be cool an keep on respecting her...maybe she'll give you extra bonus..

move out. nobody is forcing you to stay in a rotten trailer. are you so helpless that instead of taking action yourself and getting out of there you complain for somebody else to do something?

Your landlord is being a slumlord, doing some illegal practices to you, could go to free legal aid, could call information, and ask for a listing of low income legal assistance or ask for free legal aid, then when you talk to legal aid, please tell them what this person is doing to you, and in there lobby they have flyers with legal code listed on it, you could take one and present this to your landlord, to let your landlord no you are looking into getting proper help for yourself and she cant push you around like that, also please take pictures of the damage of the trailor, just in case you have to go to court for settlement, and just for your personal record of the situation, take pictures, get everything the landlords is saying documented, written down, and if your in a current lease he cant do that to you, and if your in low income he cant do that to you, talk to legal aid, they can help you, and pertect your rights, and you could get a neighborhood petition started, if you like could further help your case.
