I have a white New Era Hat that got dirty after its first day. My biggest concern is the hat shrinking, I already tried hand washing it with little success. Is it something that I could take to the cleaners, or do they not do things like that? I would rather just wash it at home...any tips?

This looks as though it may have something to do with a well or water retention??? But the floor is dirt and fieldstone within this tub and I do not see any holes in the foundation where a pipe may have ran in. This tub runs the whole width of the room and is located in orginal part of the basement. What could this be and what was it used for?

We had a fire in our microwave after the waxed paper around a potoato caught fire. Does anyone know if it would be safe to use again? Also waxed paper is supposed to be microwave safe, is it common for it to catch fire?

I live in a manufactured home that is just over a year old. The Furnace is a Coleman Evcon. I noticed when I got home today that the Emergency Heat light was blinking red. This has never happened before. The heat was not even on...it was about 90 degrees today. I turned off the air for about 2 minutes and turned it back on and so far there is no blinking. I Googled it and there was a recall for certain models but my furnace is not on the list.
Thanks!

There's an electric current apparently travelling through the knobs in the shower and the sink, and also through the water that comes through the faucets. It's not too much, but it hurts on any cuts or hangnails, and under the fingernails. It's gotten to the point where I have to change the water temp in the shower by tapping the knob with a shampoo bottle. Does it have any connection with the fact that two outlets and the main light fixture in my room dont work? Professional/educated opinions are appreciated. =\

I live next to the ocean, my tools are inside a toolshed, but they still get a coat of "rust" because of the salt-air. I put light oil on most, but not pratical on things like desk fans, tables with metal nuts and bolts/screws and so on.

I am back at my parents house and I was in the basement and way in the back in the dark, I found my dresser. It was handed down from my Aunt to me. It was made in the 1950's but looks damn good still.

I recently replaced the starter rope and pully assembly on my Snapper lawn mower. When I did this I changed the oil. I started it up for the first use after the repair and it seemed to work fine and I continued to mow the lawn with no problems at all. The next time I when to mow the lawn I pulled on the starter rope the engine tried to start but the starter rope stayed extended. I proceded to take the mower back apart to check the pully assembly. The spring was kinda funky and I think I fixed it, however, when I got it all back together and tried to start the mower again I could not pull the rope unless I pulled really hard and it didn't start. I checked the oil and it was empty. But I know I put oil in it. Any one know what happened? What to do? How Much its gonna cost me?
