With the right paint you can...read the back of the can of paint and see if you can paint ceramic with it.

Yes, if you use a good primer to get the paint to adhere well. I would try Bin or Zap. I am sure you could get a special and expensive paint at the paint store, that is formulated for such surfaces. Otherwise you could paint it with whatever paint you have and put about 3 coats of polyurethane over it to seal it and protect it. I paint everything that doesn't move so I am sure that you can paint ceramic tiles too. I know that you can also have them professionally refinished but I suspect you could do it yourself much cheaper.

Yes. You need a ceramic paint and a really good urathane
top coat. Something that will stand up to the moisture.
A paint store salesperson can help you.

Hmm, I've never heard of it being done, but I suppose if you paint squares with lines between them, it might look like ceramic tiles.

Yes you can, however it requires a special paint, and procedures. Also the finish will be more delicate than the glazed surface of the tile and will scratch easily.

nope! too much wear and nothing to bond to, it'll peel off like a prom gown, sorry.
