I live in a manufactured home that is just over a year old. The Furnace is a Coleman Evcon. I noticed when I got home today that the Emergency Heat light was blinking red. This has never happened before. The heat was not even on...it was about 90 degrees today. I turned off the air for about 2 minutes and turned it back on and so far there is no blinking. I Googled it and there was a recall for certain models but my furnace is not on the list.
Thanks!

you should contact a service center to have the unit checked, just to be sure there isn't a problem.

I also live in a manufactured home and was having furnace problems. Sometimes error lights would come on, sometimes the thing wouldn't start. After spending tons of money with repairmen who didn't know what they were talking about, one guy discovered that on the roof there was a gap between the flashing around the pipe above the heater and the roof shingles. Rain was getting in that gap and dripping down the furnace pipe directly on the expensive (several hundred dollars) circuit board of the furnace, causing it to go haywire. When the leak was fixed and the circuit board dried out, everything started working normally again.

Of course, this probably isn't your problem, but it is something to check.
