When they say take the folded spent flowers and put them away that the seeds are in there for next year. Are the seeds on the middle folicle The tiny tiny specks ?

My lawn looks like the Gobi desert but next door, his lawn looks like the pitch at Anfield. We think he's using a hospepipe at 3 in the morning but he says he's just lucky that a couple of natural springs bubble up under his grass. We've had a rota of people staying up but no-one's caught him watering- Could he be right?

My hot water is running out very quickly lately..I can take maybe a 5 minute shower before it runs out. My guess is that one of the elements may be burned out, but that seems strange to me as the tank is only two years old. How can I tell if it is one of the elements? If that's not the issue, any idea what it could be? It's an electric heater btw.
Thanks!

I wish I could be OCD enough to be cleaning all the time, but I'm not. I'm disorganized and messy, and it is driving me crazy because I am always playing catch up with myself.

Ok I'm looking for some sort of transformer or volt booster. I have an oven that I want to run at the full power of or near 240 Volts but my power supply is only 208 Volts. My oven is 3 phase and runs at 40 Amps. Any suggestions or recommendations?

We would like the steps to be durable and long-lasting of course and we are most concerned with the steps eventually moving on the hillside. The steps are going to be 4 feet wide leading up to a short walkway which goes to 3 steps up to our porch. We are in an area which experiences all of the seasons -- even some below zero days in the winter. We would prefer to use decorative block, but our concerns are about movement as well as deterioration.

I am moving to the Philippines soon, and I would like to grow my own vegetables in my garden over there. I wonder what kind of vegetables I can grow there, when to sow/plant them and when to harvest.
Thanks for helping me out.

I am curently watching Discovery Home & Leisure as its been added to my cable lineup. I have been watching a US programme called Holmes on Homes, with a (really hunky) builder who is putting right properties.

The question I have is about the construction of homes in the US. I have seen where he has pulled away the dry wall, revealing underneath stud walling with insulation and vapour barrier underneath. My question is, from what I can make out, the vapour barrier sheeting is normal and seems to practically seal the room in, surely there is the need to adequate ventilation to prevent moisture build up, and I cannot work out where the moisture produced within the room can escape to? Please can you explain in laymans terms

The freezer defrosted after a power failure while we were on holiday and we returned to find it full of rotting food. In spite of vigorous cleaning it still smells awful. How do I get rid of the smell - or willl I have to buy a new freezer?
