Try 2 small dishes, 1 each baking soda and coffee beans (not grounds). The coffee will mask the smell, the baking soda will suck up all the smells.
Also...does your freezer had like a metal grate that can be taken out of the bottom? I had something leack into the grated area after a hurrican cut our power and we everything melted. Didn't realize there was something down there, after unscrewing the grate, the was some gooey nasty who-knows-what. Cleaned that, used the 2 small dishes I noted above for a few days and all was good.

If you have already cleaned it really good. you can leave it stand open for a while and let it freshen it's self.. or turn it back on with a box of baking soda in it.. that usually takes all of the nasty smells out of it.. Our freezer went through a flood and food all spoiled before we could get it out plus the nasty muddy smell of what ever was in the silt and mud that was in it and around it..
and it was fine again..Remember if you are leaving your freezer open make sure that you take the door off so no kids will get stuck in it.. hope this helps..

This is a recipe for a solution I use for all smelly problems (it actually removes the smell of skunk from dog fur and, if it can do that, it can do anything).
Take 4 cups of peroxide (use a new bottle so it is fresh) and mix in 4 tablespoons baking soda along with 1 teaspoon of dish detergent. Do not put in a sealed jar as it will combust. Use immediately as the deodorizing comes from the oxygen that is created when the baking soda and peroxide meet.

Believe it or not, charcoal will work! Go to a pet store, and buy a bag of charcoal that is meant for an aquarium. Place it inside the freezer, and close the door. It will absorb any smells! It works pretty much anywhere there are odours. Good luck!

Arm and Hammer Baking Soda... open a box and sit it in there...the smell will be gone in a matter of hours, if you leave it in there alone, with no other foods.

the best thing I found recently that works is cut a lemon in half and place both haves in a dish of baking soda (squeeze the lemon a little to let a little citrus smell out)....leave it there about 3 days.
it should help.
