As the others have mentioned here... you need to file a claim with your mover, for the damage. They WILL pay to have the table repaired.
I could walk you thru the process of repairing the table leg, but you need certain tools, and skills as a woodworker to make the repair invisible. If youve never done anything like this, I would strongly suggest, that you let a professional do it, since this is an important piece.
Repairing broken wood, takes some skill, and a touch of art, to be able to mask the repair.... this is something that comes with good training, and lots of practice, hehehe.
If you are 'dead-set' on reparing it yourself, feel free to send me some pics of the table, a good leg, and the damaged leg... and I will gladly walk you thru the process. Send me your email, when you contact me thru here, because we will need to transfer more information than can be conveniently handled thru Yahoo! Answers. =D
Have a Nice Day!

Yes you can glue.
Be sure of a few things.
1) use the correct glue. Type of wood ask the DIY store.
2) The surface should be big enough so it (the leg) can be load baring again.
3) You need to clamp the leg while the glue is setting. Experiment before you put the glue on to prevent a mess.
4) Are you sure you want to do this yourself?

wood glue seems to be the answer, apply it to both bits which are to be stuck and clamp them together, leave it for 6-7 hours to dry, also you could put in a couple of pannel pins at a 45 angle through the joint for extra strength. if there is a joint showing after the leg is fixed. get a handfull of saw dustmix it up with wood glue and apply it into the joint with a matchstick. when it drys sand the joint lightly and you wont even know it was broke. good luck, hope this helps you repair it.

Why do you want to break your leg? Think about it. You may get out of something now but in the long run you would have the reabiltion of your leg. It's not worth it.

You can drill holes in the inside of the broken areas. Match the holes on the table and drill in a matching hole. Pipe in some liquid nail or opoxy and push in a wooden peg into the holes and push into the matching holes on the table itself withliquid nails or opoxy in there too.

Contact the sales agent of the moving company. THEY should pay for the damages, and have a piece of that quality professionally repaired. It should not cost you a dime.
