I have a Rheem Classic XL. I have scheduled for duct cleaning. What should that include? Also, is there any preventative maintenance that I can do my self i.e filter, cleaning anything that would help the performance.

The 3 walls surrounding the shower are making waves! Do I need to replace the paneling 'cause it's cheap or am I in for a world of hurt from a leaking pipe?

I want to dig in my back yard but I remember that I should call a phone number before doing that so that someone can come out and mark various lines (phone, cable, etc) so that I don't cut them.

My white gardenia bloomed when it was given to me but has never bloomed again in 3 years. I realized it needed more water and it started to be come green, but still looks sickly. Cut it back some, looked better, then in a bigger pot, still just okay. No real sign of much improvement. Help? I live in a cool climate so it has remained in a pot so we can bring it indoors.

We bought them from a nursery. When we got them, they had lots of flowers. The original flowers fell off and no new ones have replaced them. Greenery is just fine.

I have some very old roses at my house and they have been running wild for years. Some of them are over 7 feet tall and have multiple, thick stalks coming out of the ground. They are flowering nicely, but becoming unruly (one has even merged with a wild rose somehow and now wild roses bloom early and the original roses bloom late!). What should I do to rein them back in? Can I do this in the middle of summer or do I need to wait? Help!

You know, that sludge that builds up... It's very hard to get anything inside of it, and harsh detergents are bad for the bottle and future taste... Any suggestions?

Hey, my friend, sushi, has a problem with crickets in her house. her mom doesnt wanna tell her dad, and doesnt want to use chemicals or anything. i know that if you put hedge-apples out it will keep spiders away, but is there anything like that for crickets? i suppose we could stick alot of spiders in to eat the crickets, then hedge-apples for the spiders, but im looking for something a bit simpler...

I stopped to listen to a garden speaker at our County Fair last week. I was late & didn't hear all he had to say, but he brought up the gardener's "Bible" several times. I over heard someone at the nursery say something about it too, more then once, but never paid attention before. All I know is it is suspost to be the best book on gardening. A must have for every serious gardener. I've checked at several book stores without luck. My neighbor told me that is not the right name, only the name everyone refers to it. But she didn't know the real name either. Does any one know the real name? I have got to have one. Thank You!

Our dishwasher has less than 1/2" water left on the bottom after each cycle. The water is clean as are the dishes. When I hit the drain button, the water drains out fine. Is this something to worry about?

80 year young silver-hair mother is losing alot of hair, and it seems to be all in the kitchen area. Whenever I am to cook or clean, I am always trying to remove short and fine silver-colored hair strands from my hands and objects.I am desperate to find out a solution. Please do not suggest Mother stays out of HER kitchen. Mom will get offended. I have suggested that she brush her beautiful silver hair, more often.Maybe this would help in removing the strands that are going to fall from her head to begin with. When I am not around to remind her,she will not do. On the other hand, mom insists that I am too bossy. As much as I am not. My mother is a very stubborn person. But that is another topic. Please help me. I feel like I have swallowed a strand or two.

My 14 year old brother is going to camp next week. My mom and I want to paint his room and make it look nice. Years ago, when I was in the room that is now my brother's, I put some gooey glow-in-the-dark stickers on the window, and now I can't get them off. Is there anything I might have already in my house that could dissolve them or make them easier to scrape off, or do I need to go out and buy some heavy duty stuff?
