Right where I did, San Diego California! I has everything I imagined, I live in a quiet little canyon where I can see wildlife daily, semi-rural atmospere but close to great health care, shopping, the beaches, the mountains, good restaurants, hiking & biking trails, it is just the ideal place to live whether you are working or retired!

My ideal place to retire would be in an ocean front abode, w/ a screened balcony, view to the ocean for those amazing sunsets, sound of the waves rocking me to sleep every night...that would be really nice!...*Sigh*

Cumberland Plateau area of Tennessee...average year round temp 52 degrees, property taxes low, beautiful scenery, friendly people, not state income tax. Alot to see and do, good hiking trails in state parks.

Mykonos. It's a gorgeous island in Greece. It seems so laid back, and it's incredibly picturesque. Tuscany wouldn't be bad either. That's in Italy.
