The seller's disclosure statement says that the roof was repaired at one point, but that there are no current problems with the roof. We had a hard rain last week and it is leaking buckets of water. Three roofers said independently yesterday that the roof is a mess; it's been patched many, many times and will cost approximately $6,000 to fix. What legal recourse do I have? Can the seller be held responsible? I live in GA, by the way.

We have a row of peonies across the front of our house. In a few days, we will be digging a 6 foot trench by the house and need to remove the peonies for about 3 or 4 days. Does anybody have any suggestions on how to keep these plants alive before being replanted? We have burlap sacks but would appreciate any advice given. Thank you : )

My mother thinks I shouldn't move into my boyfriend and I's apartment because he has had a rough past that he has gotten help for. He is clean and he hasn't "battered" anyone. (he was falsely accused) How should I tell my mom that my son and I are moving in with my boyfriend and his daughter because we love each other and because we will be together no matter what.

i have a real nice back yard with an inground pool and plenty of privacy?? what is the problem you say?? well it seems one of my nosy neighbors has decided to cut down the brush and trees on his side of the property line. not that i am anti-social, but i just like my privacy especially in my back yard. what can i plant along the 100 ft perimeter of our property line that will grow fast and tall and need minimum care?? note:: i really dont want to go through all the trouble of putting up a privacy fence at least not right now!! any help or advice would be appreciated!!

The managers at my work are trying to save money by truning off the flourescent lights in a highly trafficked area. Thus people turn them on within at most two hours to see. Are they saving any money if they are turned on/off about 4 times in 8 hours, or what is the ratio at the point of energy loss? Also does it take a significant amount of life off the bulb to turn them on/off repeatedly?

What is the BEST.. most trusted shower cleaner?
In my last question I asked about what to use to clean a college public shower stall and the majority said to use bleach. What is your favorite/most trusted product/brand you would use in a public shower? And I don't think just spraying bleach will do the trick so is there anything/product that will do the "work" and get rid of the guck for me or do I need to scrub! ((..Yikes!))

i live in Nevada by Reno, so it is hot here. The gladioulas bloomed but the flowers are small. They get morning light until about 10:30 am and protected from afternoon shade. This is the first time I have planted them. I noticed today that they are starting to die back on the lower blossoms and have only been in bloom for a week and a half. Will the blossoms be bigger next year? If they die off do I cut them back for next year?
