I'm moving there to recuperate at the end of September. I'm doing a lot of research on that area and will be driving up to visit several times. I wanted to gather as much info as possible beforehand. Are there any room-shares and other kinds of rentals?

Thank you for your answers!

We have a corn burner. The dust from pouring the corn in the hopper makes alot of dust in the winter. Now that prices are not as high, what do you recommend? I saw some of the Ionic Breeze products didn't rate well in Consumer Reports.

I have the air-conditioner on but it feels sticky and uncomfortable. What is the humidity suppose to be for the home, and how can I lower the humidity? Will a small dehumidifier unit work on the entire house (1,000 sq. ft) ?

I was looking at getting the wire cages, but they are expensive and I have a lot of tomato plants. This is my first year growing anything, so bear with me.

I was wondering if there was a way to do the cages yourself. If so, what materials I should get? Where would I get them? And how to I set them up?

With stakes, I have no idea how this is done. I mean, I've read on the internet, but I don't see how the stake would prevent a tomato from dragging the branch it's on to the ground. Can you tell me exactly how I should put the stakes, and what I'd need to do to keep tomatoes from the ground if I do use this method?

Finally, I've been reading that you sorta pluck the lower branches when you stake/cage. How high should I pluck? Just leave the top leaves? I don't want to kill the plants by plucking them too much. Wouldn't that limit the amount of tomatoes? Do the tomatoes just grow from the top branches, or if I leave more would they grow from bottom branches too?

I bought a kegerator about 4 months ago, it has a thermostat that can be brought down to 36 degrees but since week 2 will not let me set below 41. Is this a problem that I can solve or will it take a repair person? note: it is kept outside, but sheltered. And temp problem was prior to summer temperatures in Indiana

Just curious if anyone knows the best way to melt them down. My favorite scent only comes in tea lights and votives. I was hoping to make a bigger jar to place on a jar warmer at work....since I can't have any open flames. :(

There doesn't seem to be any brackets. We attached the cabinet to the wall and attached the drain and water supply but the sink itself isn't secured to anything and doesn't seem safe.

A house we are considering to purchase has radiant heating. I've never seen it before and am wondering if it is a reason to pass on this house. I read up on how it works, but have not found any info on how it compares to other heating systems such as gas or electric.

Adding animal manures to compost (from leaves and tree branches), I believe is one of the best combination to obtain fertilizer that is suitable for all kinds of usage. Is this true? Adding animal manure will decrease the organic matter percentage in the fertilizer?

Does anyone knows about X10 products? It sounds cheap so quality is a concern. I am looking for wireless lighting devices. They have it's own forum which I don't trust.
