I bought a kegerator about 4 months ago, it has a thermostat that can be brought down to 36 degrees but since week 2 will not let me set below 41. Is this a problem that I can solve or will it take a repair person? note: it is kept outside, but sheltered. And temp problem was prior to summer temperatures in Indiana

would that not allow manual temp operation to work properly? I will check on that, thank you. Mare

A dirty condensor coil will do this. Make sure the coil is clean. Also make sure the fan motor is running. If this is all ok, may be a slight amount of refrigerant added. Good luck and have a beer for me!!

Check the exhaust fan. If been outside may have debris caught in it.
