I'll appreciate any helpful hints on the best approach to cleaning these without causing the dust to go everywhere? Thanx

I use my Swifter! Sometimes, I also just use a regular damp mop with a little detergent and amonia.

Try using Windex or a spray bottle of warm water and a little ammonia and work in sections of the screen starting in the top corner and working down. Then dry with cloth rag. Be sure to cover furniture or painted surfaces before spraying as the dirt and cleaner will drip.

If you find a real tough greasy spot put some Dawn dish soap on the area and wipe dry. Be careful not to press too hard on the screen.
Good Luck.

If you can use a hose and not ruin things on your porch, drag the hose inside, then hose the screens off, aiming the water towards the outside. (I do this at my kitchen sink in the house every year, and use my kitchen spritzer to wash the screens). A hose gets everything nice and clean, and you can even use a scrub brush and some dish soap if the screens are grimy.

A vacuum works, but takes a lot more time than a hose with water.

If you had an air compressor you could blow the dust off from the inside. No dust on your stuff- just put it back outside where it came from.

Spray it off with your waterhose a couple of times a day. That will keep the dust down.
