First thing you need to do is remove the vanes. They are held in by tabs in the headrail. Typically you need to lift the vane and pull it out of the clip.

Next remove the headrail. Look for a metal piece that swivels (sometimes moves hard, you may need to tap it with a hammer).

All that is left is the mounting hardware, use a drill, or screwdriver and you are done!
