my garden table has been treated with wooden stain but there is wax crayon on it off a family members child.
I was a very expensive table so can anyone please tell me how to remove the crayon please.

insurance company have instructed a firm to carry out work I am unhappy with it what rights do i have?

I am having work done covered by my policy.the firm doing the work
are treating me like i am getting somthing for nothing, there workmanship is at best like a d.i.y. job,there basicaly teling me like it or lump it,i have told my insurance i`m not happy can i insist on an inderpentent report by the insurance company.

Why does my washing machine get gunky grime coming out in the wash?

Every 6 months or so, a yukky griny grey matter is deposited when i wash, it seems to be coming from the machine. What causes this and how can I prevent it?

is there a cost benefit to contract out installing hardwood floors in a new modular home vs the company doing?

I am purchasing a new modular home at 2800 sq ft they are quoting to install hardwood floors at a cost of 31500 (11.25 sq ft). Should I get a local flooring company to install instead?

I want to buy a house for $159,000, and when I do I can get the 1st home buyers grant, iam currently not working but my boyfriend brings home $550 a week and works full time at the momment.

I need ideas for ground cover in shade with soil that gets very wet in winter, probably not draining well..?

I live in the SF bay area, California. I have a tree-filled corner in the west side of my yard which only gets filtered sunlight, if any at all. The soil gets waterlogged every winter. I also have a dog, so plants that can tolerate a little foot traffic would be great too.
Would Lily of the Valley work here? I would love something that is green and attractive all year round, possibly with flowers. Right now, I only have a mini Japanese rock garden there, so something that would go with that theme would be even better. Am I asking for too much?
