Consider contacting a Special Education department of your local high school... There are many Teachers of the Mentally Handicapped who wish to teach vocational skills to their students, in a community-based setting. Perhaps you'll open a door in your neighborhood that will better the community has a whole!

Yes, check with your senior citizens sites if you have any in your area, also call the local churches, schools and organizations ie: Lions club, VFW etc, they all have some type of volunteer service. Good Luck

try ot call your local YMCA..i know in our area it offers a summer program to local teens do help seniors in the area with yard work and house work at a very reasonable cost....and your local church..im sure you will find someone more then willing to help out..

contact the united way, if you are looking for a volunteer to come do that. i know i have volunteered for the united way before, going to people private homes and doing landscape work. and the united way will make sure the people who volunteer are good people.
