Yes you can. I don't bother taking out the shoestrings. Don't put the shoes in the dryer. In the winter, I let my shoes air dry for several days in the house. In the summer, they will dry outside in the sunshine in a couple hours.

The best way I have found is to remove the liner, and the shoe strings and put them in the washing machine separately. First put your machine on gentle cycle and warm water and as little detergent as possible. Never dry them in the dryer, unless you have the kind of dryer with a rack to set in it, (even then you need to use low heat). If possible keep the clean daily (as used). Then set them in the sun. The sun will bleach the shoes better than any commercial product could. That's my opinion.

Yeah. Take the shoe strings out first, though. Wash those seperate in the sink. Also don't use the dryer. Let them dry on their own.

Yes, you can. Are they leather or canvas? I have done both but find leather does not really do well after been in washer. GO to your local Athletes Foot Store and get a cleaner that will work better. You do run the risk of them tearing leather too.

You sure can.

I usually put mine in an old pillow case to keep the abrasion from the agitator down. It makes them last longer.

Set them outside to dry.

Yes, but let them air dry. If you put them in the dryer you will find that they will curl and shrink slightly.

yes you can just take out the laces and the thing inside. Don't however put them in the dryer...it will mess them up.
