I have three rose plants in front of my apartment, one of them bloomed once. Then something stole the next bud it made, and since then it has not grown much.

I had to texture the sheetrock in my bathroom b/c it wasn't prepared correctly. I want to paint stripes now. I am scared that I will put the tape down and begin painting: then when it is dry and I remove the paint, it would've "bleeded" under the tape b/c the tape is not firmly pressed down into all the grooves and cracks of the texture.

I am getting my living room decorated. Most of the walls are painted white and I have a lot of accessories such as a rug, curtains and cushions all in shades of dark red. I am thinking of getting one wall painted in dark red (Moroccan velvet or salsa red) but not having enough courage to go through with it. I am scared I will end up with a very strong colour which I might end up hating.
Any advice will be truly appreciated.

I have a 2 story house with 3 bathrooms. The toilet bowl in each one has a low water level. The plumber said he has never seen a situation where all the toilet bowls in a single house had a defect. He still suggest I replace the bowls. However, if the problem is not a defect in the bowls I would have wasted money. Is there some other problem that could cause this low water level?

My Father in Law is looking to get rid of his Termite Investation and they were looking at two different methods, either using the Foam that they drill for, or the classic tenting the house method. Which is better? I heard that the foam last longer, is that true? What are the benefits of each and the negatives of each? Thanks

Any sap advice in general would be helpful. We have a cabin on a lake and everyone winds up with sap everywhere, from clothing to skin to hair.

Cedar or Pressure Treated?

I just learned that a few of my houseplants and garden plants are poisonous to dogs. My dog hasn't eaten anything yet, but she does occasionally eat some grass from the lawn, so I just want to make sure that she never decides to try the other plants.

I would also prefer it if the spray didn't hurt the plants. The poisonous plants are: peace lily, tomato plant, philodendron, aloe, and bird of paradise (and those are just the ones I can identify!). I would also like to eventually get hydrangeas, corn plant, Asian lily, Lily of the valley, and maybe calla lily.

Can anyone help me out? Thanks!

The acre is fenced in but from the street its boring and bland with a long driveway and a play yard off to the side (I have 2 small kids). My house sits right at the back of the land. Any suggestions on how to make this a functioning space for my family while retaining curb appeal?

I am attempting to paint my home. However, I have really ugly brick that is black and burnt sienna colored. The roof is done is tan and grey and the garage door and sun room are done to match the roof in a taupe color. I also have some aluminum trim and gutter work that are cream colored. I would like to add some shutters and paint the front door with an accent color, but I am at a loss as to what color to choose.
