My Father in Law is looking to get rid of his Termite Investation and they were looking at two different methods, either using the Foam that they drill for, or the classic tenting the house method. Which is better? I heard that the foam last longer, is that true? What are the benefits of each and the negatives of each? Thanks

My parents have a condo in Florida, in a 3 story building of about 36 apts. infested with termites. They are doing the foam method because tenting would mean that the residents would have to leave for 3 or 4 days and some of them have no place to go, and don't have the money for a hotel for that length of time. So that's something to consider, he'll have to leave his house for several days while the tenting is done.

On the other hand, from what my parents have been telling me, the foam method is not working very quickly, the termites are still there and it's going to be a long haul before they're gone.

I hope this helps just a little, I really don't have knowledge of this, this is only what I've heard. Good luck to you and your FIL.
