Reciprocating, or circular? Is it actually flying, or has it been thrown/dropped ? Fortunately this has not been a problem in my shop, however I once had an experience with a belt sander after a breaker tripped. I just remembered where I have seen a flying saw, (circular). It was a saw designed to cut plywood to length as it traveled on a conveyor, without stopping the conveyor. Very cool stuff to watch if your a tool nut like me.

Get out of the way, and then see what maniac threw the silly thing, while it was still running!
Whom ever tossed it, has some serious problems, if they cant control thier temper that way, and can be a danger to others with out regards to anyone but themselves.
And if it wasnt running, I would still want to talk to the person and offer to enroll them in anger management classes, as they need to be able to vent some other way.
Then, I would give them a hand, in what they were doing, because, obviously thier woodworking skills are lacking and I may be able to show them the proper way or an easier way of doing thing :)
I wish you well..

First, I'd cut back on the acid, because I'm seeing some really freaky stuff.
Second, my butt would pucker up.
Third, I'd get the heck out of the way.
Fourth, I'd seek professional help.
