It also depends on your local area. Tastes vary, I find, from state to state.... heck, from town to town. What may be popular and attractive in one locale, may be passe in another.
Check with some real estate agents in your area... they won't mind. Just ask what seems to be popular in your neighborhood, and then in your region. That should help give you a better idea regarding your build-out.

from my point of view people really like ensuites as it gives them more privacy, and stops queuing for the shower in the morning.

people seem to like onsuite bathrooms now. so should think it would be good selling point
