my front yard consists of two sections seperated by a drive way. One section is 120'X15" the other section is 120'X65'. How many sprinkler heads do I need and what is the spacing?

Many years ago I was faced with the same question you're presenting here. A friend of mine told me to take a rough sketch of my landscape design to the nearest Hunter Sprinkler dealer. They were extremely helpful in solving the same problems you're dealing with. (I doubt very much if you'd get the same attention going to Lowe's or Home Depot)

Most of these dealers cater to the landscape professionals but they're happy to help the average homeowner. In your case, with the extremely large area you're about to do, it would be a good idea to have them help you with proper sprinkler head placement, determining the number of anti-siphon valves to install, and type of sprinkler heads to use when it comes to unusual shapes or angles that will be encountered (areas to be covered).

Hunter sprinkler heads are of high quality and I'm sure there are several others that match up in performance. I like them because I haven't many problems since installing my lawns 12 years ago.

Here's their website so you can find one of their dealers: www.hunterindustries.com

Good luck to you!
