I've rinsed out my eyes continually but I keep getting little blobs of flour-water appearing in the corners of my eyes. Is it possible that when the flour-water first got in my eyes that it migrated to the back of my eyes? Can stuff actually get to the very back of your eyes?

Good Evening,

I am ordering contacts online, and I am having an issue with sizing for colored contacts. I am at 8.6/ 14.2. All I can find for the particular contacts I am looking for is 8.6/ 14.0 or 14.5. My doctor is an imbecile and therefore NO help at all... so here I am. Would it be a better option to go a bit larger or smaller?
Not sure if it's important, but I will add that I have blue eyes naturally and just looking for a color enhancer of sorts.

Thank you!

Are there color contacts just to change your eye color?
I recently had a fall, and now my vision is blurred in one eye, but the other is fine. if i get contacts, could i get one that would improve the blurred one and just a normal colored one for the other? if so what are they called? id really love your help:)

I'm only 14 and my eyesight is already bad from playing too much computer. My eyeglasses presciption degree was 375 degree for both eyes. My mom said that once you get near 500 degree, you have a high chance of getting blind. Is that true? About what degree will you have high chance of being blind?

Blind from having a high degree, not just anything. So don't say" you can be blind at any degree, like if you got stabbed in the eye"

How do you improve your eyesight? I wear glasses and I definitely want to improve my eyesight so bad and I don't like to wear my glasses. My eyesight number is 1.25 and I am far-sighted and I can see in my house without my glasses. But in the school, it is the worst. I wear my glasses all the time in the school and I don't want to wear my glasses. And when I take my glasses off in the school, everything is completely blurry. And I want to know the eye exercise to improve my eyesight. I don't want the answers like 'Oh, you can't improve your eyesight unless you get contacts or eye laser surgery' or whatever. I am only 13 and I do not want to wear contacts and I don't want to get laser surgery. I just want my eyesight to be improved in TWO weeks. Please give me some good websites of eye exercise to improve my eyesight. If you don't know what to answer, then don't. If you don't have an answer for this question, then don't answer this question. Thanks so much!!

Hiya! Merry Christmas :)
Right, I would like glasses, infact, I'd love glasses, I went to the optitions, and I was told my eyes are perfect, so I can't have them.
A friend was saying that I could buy glasses that don't actually effect your vision - improve or worsen.
Is that true? If it is, where can I buy these 'glasses' from?

I have hetherto consulted many Ophthamologists. Some doctors advise to buy the contct lens of the same number as the spectacles are. On the other hand, some other doctors advise to buy contact lens of 0.25 less degree of the numbers specified for the spectacles. Can please anybody guide me the correct method? I am confused.

One of my eyes is markedly more dilated than the other. I noticed it a few days ago after a shower, and now I'm seeing it again in pictures my husband took tonight.

What does this mean?

At 44, I just got my first Rx glasses (polycarbonate rimless), for single vision distance (and -1.75 astigmatism in OD). The prescription seems right on, and I can see everything past 5 feet with incredible clarity (I can't believe how near sighted I was!)

I have gotten more comfortable with the peripheral distortion due to my myopia prescription, but I still often feel the glasses distort how I see things ever so slightly. Some things seem smaller or thinner (though I do see them with AWESOME clarity). And I can at times feel almost a bit of a fish-eye effect. Sometimes too depth perception seems a bit off...?

I have been told this is normal, and that I am simply at the point of just beginning to learn to adapt to looking at the world through artificial lenses, and that I need to be patient for the short learning curve...?

Ok I have two questions, my first question is: Can someone explain why I am getting glasses but I have 20/20 vision? They Eye doctor said something about the way my eyes focus and something about up close vision, I was confused.

My Second question: When will I receive my glasses? I went yesterday (12/18/07) and I had a prescription and I picked out my glasses, and they said they will come in about a week. Do you think they meant a week at the latest or withing a week...or what?

Thanks so much! Oh and if you care here are the glasses I am getting :) http://www.go-optic.com/viewframe.asp?id=18776&x=4&page=DFRAMES

I got contacts from my eye doctor.. and they were mixed by mistake. They were labeled wrong.. I have had my left eye in my right eye and vice versa. I have been wearing these for 2 and a half weeks at the least, and have been bothered almost the entire time. I threw out what was originally labeled.. because they were an extra pair.. on my actual contact boxes they forgot to label them. I wish I could start a small claims case because I know that my eyes must have gotten a bit worse because of their mix up.. but since I don't have that proof I am unsure how to handle the situation. What should I do? I am so pissed!

OK-this may sound ridiculous-but it`s driving me crazy !
My glasses pinch the bridge my nose a bit-if I loosen them they slip down all the time-I have slight pink marks either side of the bridge of my nose as a result-great !
Anyone got any suggestions to stop this?
Thanks in advance-ps-don`t like wearing glasses because of this-but optician says my eyes are too dry for contacts.

I have been told that there is nothing, and I just have to accept this fact. My eyes get worse every year since my 40s. What about something in my diet or computer use restriction. I do eye exercises but doesn't seem to help.
