hey, today i got this pair of glasses from the pharmacy which is called natural vision.it isn't the normal type of glasses. It's black and has many tiny pinpricks which is suposed to train our eyes to
focus...and if i wear it often enough,it repairs my eyesight.does this really work. or does it make my eyesight even worse if i don;t wear my normal glasses for awhile and wear a pair of this instead.

I am trying to get my new soft contacts from the eye doctor. The thing is, they make me come in for sessions to learn how to use them until I get it right. So, I could get them in with no problem, but I couldn't get them out. So they didn't let me have them. I have to know the easiest way to take them out so I can finally be blessed with my new contacts because these glasses are hell to me.

I went to lenscrafters where they dilated my eyes since I been seeing alot of these tiny white sprinkling stuff and i been seeing it for a month..but they dont know what it is. do you think it should go away?? this never happened to me before unless if i rubbed my eyes too hard. i see this all the time and its annoying. its not flashes of light. its like what u see if u blink or rub ur eyes too hard especially. do u know what im talking about?? i dont wanna get my eyes dilated ever again. they should have a machine atleast to check instead of those i heard though.

Ok I went to the eye doctor and I have to get glasses or contacts. I have got a pair of contacts to try and I just can't get them IN I have no trouble getting them OUT. I had them for about a week now & I'm STILL having trouble. It takes me like seriously 3hrs to get ONE in! Should I give up on contacts and get glasses or will I need more time to get them in?

I am going blind from Retina dystrophy and would like more information. I've been told by a specialist that there is no treatment and only need to be monitored. I know that it manifests itself by color and night blindness and it's genetic, but would like more information.
My grandmother and mother had it.

ok, so i know nowadays we have glasses and contacts to give us all better vision.

i wear contacts. i dont exactly know my vision, its definetely not 20/20 vision. but on my contacts prescription and everything it says -2.00 for my right and left eye.

If i were to keep wearing my contacts about everyday, Would it take years for my vision to go back to normal? or how long would you think it'd take?

should i consider getting laser eye surgery so that they can permanetely be 20/20 vision?

Another question:

If someone with eye defect is regularly wearing glasses with appropriate power (only takes them off before bathing and sleeping), but discards them after a few weeks of wearing them and never wears glasses again, how will this person be affected?

Please answer both questions with proper explanation. I asked my dad this and he told me to put it here as he wanted to know too.

Whenever I get my eyes examined they do the thing where you look at whatever image is there and then they shoot a large amount of air into your eye!
I have to do it about 5 times, because I know what will happen and I close my eye last minute!

Does anyone else have a problem with this?

I have to pairs of eyeglasses with the SAME prescription. One of them has a thick rimmed frame and the other one is half rimless with metal on the top part.
I can see MUCH MORE CLEARLY when I'm wearing the semi rimless one. Is this even possible with the same prescription? If so, why is this???

What is the name of the eye disease that "they" discovered a few years ago could possibly be detected if a person kept coming up with "red-eye' in photos taken of them. I have a friend whose baby (about 6 mos old now) has always got "red-eye" in every photo and has since birth.

Lately I've been having trouble reading writing that is far away. I have DirectTV and I can barely read the guide, the words are a blur, but I can see the picture perfectly. I can't see the digital clock on the oven from across the room. Stuff like this. My mom said that I'll probably need glasses, and I agree with her. She said I should wait until it get's really bad before I get glasses because glasses make your eyes lazy. Should I wait or get them now?

I searched for AMD, but couldn't find it! I would be thankful if you could specify a link so that I could know about the symptoms! By the way, this man has been injected the dexametazone and betametazone for five days, but hasn't recovered! Again tnx to Guess and Deb8er for your answeres! :) I also saw the symptoms about the macula degeneration, but I don't think that would be it, cause in that case it's said "The eye still sees objects to the side, since side (peripheral vision) is usually not affected." But this isn't the way this man sees object! Reffering to what the doctors had said I think they first thought it was macular degeneration but after a while they noticed it wasn't! They have also said it was sth. to do with the optical nerves of the patient! That's why I wanna know what the AMD(refering to what Guess said) is!
