Another question:

If someone with eye defect is regularly wearing glasses with appropriate power (only takes them off before bathing and sleeping), but discards them after a few weeks of wearing them and never wears glasses again, how will this person be affected?

Please answer both questions with proper explanation. I asked my dad this and he told me to put it here as he wanted to know too.

Perfect eyes: if you wear glasses and don't need them (or, as a glasses wearer you wear ones that are too strong for you) you will get a headache and your eyes will feel tired. Over a period of time it can affect your eyesight, as your eyes will be trying to compensate for the glasses.

Eyes with defect: A person who wears glasses that they actually need and then stops could also experience a headache. This person will also feel like their vision has become worse (even though it hasn't) because he/she is now used to seeing things clearly. This person's eyes will continue to get worse and can experience eye strain due to squinting and such.

Both are bad ideas, may i say!

This is a very interesting question answergeek. I always wondered this myself. I am one who was told I need glasses but I refused to wear them. My belief is that a person who need glasses (and his vision is not bad to the extent that without glasses he cannot see) then his eyesight will become worst. {This of course is my belief}
So I believe that your eyesight will become worst in that case too.

The worst that could happen is a headache. Honestly.
