Help.. I have been diagnosed with an inflamed cornea about a month ago with my doctor... he said I might of wore my contacts too long at that time..I also suffer from red eyes. There is inflammation in the inner corner of my eye next to my tear duct.. i wanna wear my contacts so bad since i cannot really see clearly with my glasses... i currently take lotemax and artificial tear drops daily but it doesnt seem to help me.. has anyone had similar experiences? does anyone know how long before the inflammation will be healed??

This depends entirely on the cause of the infammation, and the infecting agent, if any.

I have seen some corneas which took more than three months to recover from keratitis associated with excessive contact lens wear. Permanant damage is, I'm afraid, a possibility.
Some infections can be difficult to eliminate (fusarium, acanthamoeba...)

The vision with glasses then is often poor because the cornea is simply not smooth, apart from any watering due to discomfort. But while the cornea is so affected there is no good solution.
