with the Glaucoma, Visual Acuities and everything

They blow air on your eyes to test your intraocular pressure. High intraocular pressures are a sign of glaucoma, the leading cause of blindness in developed nations. As for the pre-testing, they are all important factors in your overall visual health and an abnormality in any of the pre-tests can tell the doctor a lot about your eyes and visual system.

I know it's mainly a check for glaucoma but in my case, I was also being checked for dry eyes.

its not painfull, its just to see for any abnormalities or Glaucoma
