I am going blind from Retina dystrophy and would like more information. I've been told by a specialist that there is no treatment and only need to be monitored. I know that it manifests itself by color and night blindness and it's genetic, but would like more information.
My grandmother and mother had it.

I think that if you already have a family history it tends to follow the same pattern. But I also think that they are going to be able to offer some form of treatment soon. So don't give up hope...

There are a number of different retinal dystrophies, you should ask your doctor for the exact name. Then google the name and you should find lots of information.
