I've worn hard lenses for about 10 years, but recently switched to soft lenses because I heard they were more comfortable - which they were. However, I'm having trouble seeing things clearly, most notably on a computer screen...text and even images are often blurry. The eye doctor assured me that the prescription was the same as before. I gave it a few weeks because I thought it would get better but it's still the same - any ideas why?

I'm going in for an eye exam tomorrow, and it's possible that they may want to dilate my eyes. I've never had it done before, so I'm not sure what to expect. What does it feel like, what will things look like, how long will it take to wear off, etc.? Also, I've heard tell of some people who've gotten sick or fainted from eye dilation drops...how common is this, and what are the risk factors for it happening?

Also, second question - I woke up in the middle of the night about a week ago (I sleep with my lights on, btw) and looked in the mirror for a moment, and my eyes were COMPLETELY dilated. I've never seen this happen before from waking up. Went near the light, and it took almost 10 minutes before they went small again. I've also heard of the pupils dilating when you die. Does this mean that I may have very almost nearly died that night?

hey guys i'm finding it hard to read what's on the board when i'm at school or read the road signs when they are far away i can see everything very good but when something is a little fathrer i have hard time seeing it so tomorrow i will probably have an apointment and this may make me wear glasses i dont wanna to wear glasses so i choose the lenses instead, anyone of you wear that? i know many ppl do.. is it comfortable guys? or do u feel like wearing something on your eyes?


please any of you, respond quickly. i hate to wear glasses, thanks GOD i have nice eyes that i don't wanna hide so i really hate glasses plus wearing glasses is annoinyg

For about a year now, somedays when I wake up I have really blurred and double vision for almost the entire day and somedays I do not have this and have pefectly fine vision. And, in the last 3 or 4 months I have sometimes been seeing like "waves" of light in my vision, especially at night when I'm watching t.v. I see the waves of light around the screen. I also see halo's around most light at night. Also, my eyes are really sensitive to light, like if i see a headlight at night, I will see the headlight in my vision for a few minutes after it has passed my car. I went to the eye doctor and they tested me and found I had 20/20 vision, but was color blind. I went to the doctor and had a test for diabetes and it was normal. Would I have something wrong with my brain or something else bigger than just my eyes? Any information, especially first-hand knowledge, would be appreciated. Thanks.

Right now I'm at -2.50 I know thats not bad as other people but...just on curiousity what is the magic number where there is no more levels and your helpless.
