my fiancees eyes were getting better now he can't see very well out of one...anyone with PRK experience know anything?

If it worsens at 2/12, I wouldn't expect it to get better spontaneously. If it's enough to notice, it's enough to get checked.
There are a number of possibilities, so an examination is required to distinguish between them.
