I like dark brown because they are warm and look quite mysterious.

Why does no-one seem to like the colour brown apart from the fact they are the most common as most people I know have blue eyes?

My eyes have a dark blue rim then a little bit of grey then it goes to green with gold speks. I have a very light complexion. I read its normal for dark skin tones to have a dark blue rim on the out side of their eye. Is it normal to have this many colors in your eyes?

I depend on my eyeglasses to see clearly, without them I literally can't make out much of anything, it's just a big blur. How did cavemen and people in history before eyeglasses were available manage to see without prescription eyeglasses if they had poor to horrible vision. Were they rendered useless or considered handicap, maybe even thought of as going blind?

Why is my right eye twitching? This has been going on for at least 1.5 weeks. Usually I do get it if I have a week of work to cram and I use the computer for extended periods of time, but this week, my PC use has been kept to a minimum, and my right eye twitching hasn't stopped.

Or is it something only an Opthamologist can perform? Reason I'm asking is because I've had a 'floater' in my eye and I'm concerned about it, and some people have said it could be a sign of a retina problem.(or not).

I have had new glasses for three years in a row now. My eye Dr. says they are not ripe enough yet. However I am tired of having to buy new glases every year. I'd just as soon they remove them and get this over with!

Does anyone know if there is a tinting kit out there that I could use for darkening my sunglasses or eyeglasses? I want to try doing it myself instead of sending it out. Would that be a good thing to do or am I asking for trouble?

i've have pink eye in both eyes for 5 days. i started taking eye drops 3 days ago and i think it made my eyes worse. red lines are crawling up from the corners of my eyes and i am still getting pus, but not as much as before when my eyes wouldn't open in the morning. i can't tell if what i have is viral or bacterial and i don't know if i should stop the drops or not, and im not applying so much because im getting scared.i get blurry vision very often and i couldn't read half my questions on my science test. i know i shouldn't be touching my eyes but i can't help it, the pus is too stiff and painful whenever i blink. i have a really bad cold as well and i don't know if it's from pink eye or not. i don't tear much and the pus is only at the corners of my eyes now and sometimes they are really sticky. i also need to know how long it would take for my eyes to get better.i know i asked a lot but i am worried and i can't stop thinking about my eyes. whoever can answer me will be my hero.

I'm a 25 years old guy. I'm short-sighted about -8 each eye and that means I can't do see or anything without my glasses. I don't like contacts so I'm considering LASIK.

For people who had it, any regrets? How long did it take after LASIK to be able to do you normal daily activities? Thanks in advance!

I went for Lasik Surgery in Singapore almost a year ago. My overall vision is almost perfect but I suffer from very bad night vision. As a result, I can't drive at night anymore. This is really affecting my life. I want to know if there's a cure for night vision, supplements to reduce it or if as a last resort, I should go for re-surgery again? Please advise.

I'm short sighted. I have to wear glasses all the time. I told my friends this....they all yelled 'NERD!!'.
Does this embarrassing and stupid ritual happen to everybody who gets glasses?

Ugh. People, your advice please.

If you are wearing your glasses all the time, did you start wear them straight away after you picked them up?

Hey -
I am completely new to wearing contacts. I bought my first pair today and am finding that my eyes feel strained and tired. My optometrist told me this was normal but I wanted to find out about your first time with contacts and the types of normal discomforts you experienced. Thanks!

This doesnt make sense. I had a eye test, the doctor has my prescription but he told me I need to see an Optometrist.

I was born with strabismus, I have always worn glasses but have switched to contacts. My eyes drift outward slightly, but since I got my contacts my parents and sister have noticed it decrease alot. Not to mention my friends. I am glad, but am baffled as to why this has happened. Why?

I'm getting contacts really soon, and I dont want to take an hour trying to put them on and off. So I decided to practice by touching my eye. But is it bad to touch my eye like that?

My mother got operated for Cataract and hard plastic lense was used instead of soft .(The decision was made by surgeon).

I have been told that the only difference is that the patients with hard lense take longer time to recovery and otherwise they both are of same quality -- Is that correct ?

Also - - How much time does it take for a person to recover to remove the bandage on the eye., open it for the vision check.
