Hey -
I am completely new to wearing contacts. I bought my first pair today and am finding that my eyes feel strained and tired. My optometrist told me this was normal but I wanted to find out about your first time with contacts and the types of normal discomforts you experienced. Thanks!

I'm 12 and I just got contacts yesterday and they're so annoying! I just put one in 10 minutes ago and my eye is still tearing. Im gonna put in the other one later. It took me about an hour yesterday to take the left one out.

When I first got contacts they were kinda uncomfortable and took me awhile to get them in , but after about 3 weeks I got used to them and now I don't even feel them. Perhaps try eyedrops for any discomforts, they helped me a lot. I recommend Blink. Good luck !

I was 11 when I first started using contacts. The doc put them in, and then at night, my mom had to take them out because I was too scared. And for the next 2 weeks my mom put them in, but I could take them out. After a while I could put them in and take them out no prob. Good luck.

Yeah, they feel weird at first, but then you love them. They are very convenient, and you don't even know you have them in sometimes.
