Crossed eyes are eyes that are misaligned. However, they can lead to lazy eye. Lazy eye is caused by the brain learning to disregard signals from one eye due to the conflicting images it receives. This can lead to permanent vision loss in the lazy eye if the condition isn't detected soon enough.

Corssed eyed is when one eye goes one direction, such as left, and the other eye goes another direction, such as right. I think lazy eye is when the eye lids are swollen, and look like they are being pulled to the floor by gravity, but to be sure, look it up in the dictionary.
