Hai.

Working more than 8 to 10 hours daily in front of computer(monitor) with in a 5 years you going to suffered blindness. To protect this you have to use anti glare spectacles.
otherwise use radiation monitor glass. Most of the survey reports suggested better use anti glare spectacles. Advantage is that it will protect your eyes from focusing lights of vehicle in driving time.

No chance to get blindness when you tried to close your eyes. If you use chemical shampoos or soaps chances are there. So better to use natural products.

No, on both questions. There are a lot of silly myths around about eyes, and you can certainly make your eyes more uncomfortable if you overdo the screen stuff, but real damage? No.

If your eyes are real tired, and you wash them, there is a big possibility it would damage your eyes. Give it some rest first before anything else.
