Most patients will notice significant improvement in comfort within 2 to 3 days. If you are still quite uncomfortable with your hard contacts after this you may benefit from a refitting of your lenses or a simple procedure called a lens edge modification. The discomfort you feel from you lenses comes from the EDGE of the lens being felt by the underside of your upper lid. If your doctor knows how to do this, have him or her modify the anterior edge of the lens to make it more comfortable. If refitting or edge modification doesn't work then you may not be succesful in adapting to hard contacts. Hope this helped.

I got a pair years ago and still have them. I never wear them because I couldn't get used to them. I never was able to get over the feeling of constantly having something stuck in my eye. I know some people can adjust to them but I couldn't.

It took me 2 weeks of gradually wearing them everyday. Beginning with 2 hours until i could wear them for 8 hours non stop.
