Carrots will make no difference unless you have a very poor diet (near starvation) and have a severe vitamin deficiency.

There may be some things that you can do, but they will depend on what condition is making your eye sight poor. If your only problem is needing glasses, then I'm afraid that the only answer is the wear your glasses or contacts.

To protect your eye sight from potentially blinding eye diseases, the most important thing you can do is not smoke. Other things are to follow your doctor's advice if you have diabetes, high blood pressure or other systemic diseases, eat a diet high in fruit and veggies, wear safety glasses when needed and use UV blocking sunglasses when outdoors.

There are only a few ways I know...

Stay away from your computer screen and/or TV for a few hours.
Eats your carrots....
Do not stare at the sun for longer than 3 seconds.
And do not wear glasses that are not meant for you....

if you are older, cataract surgery may help.... of course, you would have to have a discussion with your eye doctor to determine whether or not this surgery would be appropriate for you at this point in time.
