yes i think you can if you pass the eye test after getting it done if yore eyes pass you will get in the army.

Check first whether the job you want to do in the particular army you want to join requires that you not wear glasses. Many positions do not have a vision requirement so laser surgery may be unneeded.

Since you will need to talk to the army recruiting person to find this out, also ask if they will allow people who have had laser surgery to do those jobs that do require good vision without glasses.

As long as your sight is suitable for the job the Army won't give a damn how you achieve it. It would be worth talking to the recruitment officer who may get you a grant towards it.

yes i wear glasses and was in forces certain regiments may need good eyesight but some vision doesn't matter as you can wear glasses etc
