My range-scores are starting to suffer due to degrading eyesight, and I'm considering getting a lasik treatment to correct it. My question is, is it at all possible to attain the eagle-eye that I had before my vision started degrading, or will it only go to 20/20? Is there any way for me to get my old 20/10 vision back?

Do you pull them out? Should you? They're just thin long goobers that take over your eyelid.

He can't see the corner of the objects such that if a object is rectangular he would see it circular. I do ephasize that this has happened just for his left eye and just in a sudden! Before that event he didn't have any problem and didn't even wear glasses! Can u say what the disease is and can he recover from that! Also the doctors have said that it's related to the optical nerves! I just wanna know how much it is dangerous!

At first it was annoying. Now I'm a little worried. I just quit smoking, I have high amounts of stress, and the sleep I get is minimal.

Everyone else it's something different and obviously it's not working. Is it something I should be worried about?

I got my eyes dilated in the beginning of Dec. and I been seeing these light foggy little particles especially I see it if I look at a wall..It kinda looks better from the past but it's still there. It's those things that like if u rub your eyes too hard or blind a lot of times, you see those. I can't really tell when I'm in the sunlight but I see it in a dark place especially. What do u think might be wrong?? That was also my first time getting my eyes dilated too.

My aunt and uncle are having a baby, and they are wondering what eye colour it will probably have.

The baby's father has blue eyes, and both his parents have blue eyes.

The baby's mum has brown eyes, her mother has has hazel eyes and her father has brown eyes, but her grand mother has blue eyes.

So what are the chances?

About every evening( usually when doing something visually active) I get a really bad pressure only in my left eye. I do wear glasses. Could this just be my astigmatism?

big, big eyes. Big eyes run in my chinese part of the family. Instead of slitty eyes we have big eyes. In a way you could call it triple eyelids. I used to hate them and I admired people who had smoky sexy eyes like Eva Green in Casino Royale, James Bond. So I used to spend hours upon hours looking at myself in the mirror and trying to make my eyes smaller sultry. So I used to blur my vision to do so. I was thirteen. I am now fourteen and my mum keeps telling me my eyes haved shrunk. And I agree now my younger brother who is eight has the type of eyes I once did. Someone help me I want big eyes back I hate small eyes now. I have tried using my fingers to pull at my eyelids and I have tried opening my eyes very large now. Also I have put on some weight and my cheeks have become chubby! Help somebody! I know I sound vain! Also I actually heard that when your born your eyes are already 80% developed! Is it the eye or the eyelid? I'm confused! How do I get my big eyes back?

I want to purchase coach frames discounted, can I bring them with my prescription to any eyeglass retailer like lens crafters or Sears? Will they just put lenses in for me without a frame purchase?

2007-12-25 14:15:38 · 8 answers · asked by vtori W 2

my prescription is
-3.75
-3.50
no astigmatism

now, the thing is the following.I've always worn contacts, and I've almost never worn my glasses, since I went directly to contacts when they were first prescribed to me (I was 11 ys old)
Now, I'm quite tired of contacts and to be honest, I like some of the frames (not quite confortable with how they look on me but I'll get used to that)
I was just wondering, with that prescription, could I be just an "occasional wearer" (I mean for driving, movies, etc)
or will it be impossible for me to manage without them? (I'm talking about completely leaving contacts for a while and wearing eyeglasses but taking them on and off throughout the day, not leaving them on from when I wake up till when I go to bed as I used to do with contacts)

how do you feel when you take your glasses off
apart from ´i can´t see`
lol we all know that if not you wouldn't wear them at all

I personally wear contacts, but when I taken off I don't get a headache or anything, but I feel my eye muscles really, really tense, as if I couldn't really move my eyeballs comfortably.
That's just me , but maybe I'm crazy LOL
