Do you pull them out? Should you? They're just thin long goobers that take over your eyelid.

They actually help cleanse ur eye from debris and yuck germs that we can't even see or arent aware r there. Sure clean them out, make sure ur hands r clean or u will have even more goobers hangin out. If u dont cleanem then u will prob LOOK kinda unhygienic as well.

We all have a tear film on our eyes which consists of a tear and mucus layer. It acts similar to the mucus membranes of the nose. When we sleep we often open our eyes. The mucus is built up while we sleep. Remember when we are awake we blink to keep things from going in our eye and if something does we tear and blink it out. However, not the same when we are sleeping...especially during REM.

You don't get that if you have dry eyes. I have to put in eye drops at night so my eyelids don't stick to my eyeballs and tear at them when I open them again.
