What is the range, in diopters, that a doctor can prescribe you a contact lense?

Im trying to stick with contacts, and I want to know what is the range that they make contact lenses in. I have about +3. DO they make +4?? More?

wow, been awhile- Doctors can Rx anything from a -20.00 to a +20.00

Check with your eye doctor for your special case. I found up to 10 diopter contacts listed.
