OK-this may sound ridiculous-but it`s driving me crazy !
My glasses pinch the bridge my nose a bit-if I loosen them they slip down all the time-I have slight pink marks either side of the bridge of my nose as a result-great !
Anyone got any suggestions to stop this?
Thanks in advance-ps-don`t like wearing glasses because of this-but optician says my eyes are too dry for contacts.

I used tae huv this problem many years ago. I farted aboot wi' the wee nose bits constantly. It wizznae until I adjusted the eary bits, that I managed tae solve the problem. Go back tae yer optician and explain the problem. They huv sold ye yer specs, so they should try tae gie ye some satisfaction. Guid luck....

I would see a different optician, dry eyes can be treated to enable use of contacts, theres lots of different types of contacts nowadays, disposable ones are great for dry eyes and cost from just £13 per month.
Your glasses are badly fitted, either too heavy (try lightweight lenses and frames) or more likely too long on the ears bars (easily adjusted). Go back and complain.

Silicone nose pads might help. They're softer, and don't slip as easily. Adjusting the temples (ear pieces) should help, too. If your optician can't help you, visit another shop: pick a time of day when they aren't at all busy, explain the situation, and hopefully they'll adjust them for you. And next time you need glasses, buy them there instead.

It never ceases to amaze me how mankind becomes more "advanced" the barbarity of it's behaviour regresses into new depths. Bullfighting is indicative of a dysfunctional lust for suffering, pain and cruelty, in any civilized society it is indefensible, those who defend it do so to convince us of the testosterone abundance they have, how they love the adrenalin rush of seeing the "inferior" animal species dominated and tortured by the "superior" human species, it's just narcotic inducing cowardice. u glasses r mettalic right??? its because metallic glasses have 2 small plastic pads where it rests on ur nose..i dunno what its called.. since the entire pressure is on that area, u get those pink marks espically if u wear them continously try using a plastic glass .... they dont hav that thing so there wont b any marks on ur nose.
