So I'm out of contact lens solution and for various reasons, I will have no access to get more contact solution tonight. Going to the store or having someone bring me solution is out.

I HATE sleeping in my contacts and my goal, with your help, is to figure out how best to store my contacts overnight.

I do have re-wetting drops though.

So my question (finally!) is: is it best to keep my contacts in water, re-wetting drops, a mixture of the 2, or any other suggestion overnight?

ive had glasses for a few years now and i got my eyes checked a few days ago and got my new glasses today. But i noticed my right lens is clearly thicker than my left, (Question1)is this normal?

(Question2) could it be my fault for answering a question like which lens is better, and giving an answer which seemed right at that moment, but i was unsure?

I've been seeing this white, circular flash every time I blink in a dark room. It isn't like little flashing lights everwhere,it's just one flash. It's also sort of big. I was fine 2 weeks ago, though. I don't have migraines or anything like that,so that's not the problem. Do you think I should see an eye doctor?? Thanks

I've just had my eyes tested today, and bought some glasses straight away using the prescription. I usually just wear lenses. I am disappointed to find that my vision is not as clear as it is with contact lenses of the same strength -3.50 right eye, -4.0 left eye. Should the prescription for my glasses differ from the prescription for my lenses? I had hoped for crystal clear vision, but cannot read text on the TV 12 feet away very clearly. I've spent 300 pounds on these glasses and can't see as clearly as I'd anticipated - eek!! Is this to be expected?

I mean I do wear them but only when I really need to. Like for driving and using them in class to see the board or projector. But I do not wear them while going somewhere like to a store. I have new glasses and the lens are just a little bit thicker. This causes me to get a little dizzy when turning my head fast. But I also dislike wearing them due to having social anxiety so that my vision would be distorted in a distance and not having to make eye contact due to having the feeling "everyone is looking at me". And as well causes my anxiety to increase which causes me to sweat due to thinking that I look goofy with them on. Should I start wearing them for the sake of my vision?

I have medium-dark brown eyes.
I wear colored contacts. I wear green Freshlook contacts. And I love them. They look great on me.

I was wondering, would the Sea Green Freshlook color work for me? Will the color show up? It's pretty and light.

This is the color http://www.eyescolored.com/catalog/images/sea-green.jpg

I asked my mom if it will show up on me, and she said "Of course, because the color of the contacts covers up the color of your brown"

Will the color show up good like the picture in my eyes? If not, will it still kind of light??

I have to get this surgery, i have been to many different specialist and they all say that my optic lense is not shaped right because the connective tissue that hold it in place has torn so in effect caused them to lose their correct shape. So now they say this complicates the surgery because they aren't sure if they have enough connective tissue for the optical lense implants. Has anyone else had this issue and know of what would be the alternative if the connective tissue doesnt hold the implant in place?

I've been wearing glasses since I was 14 and the older I've gotten, the more my eyes have been dependent on glasses. I'm to the point where I have severe myopia and a eye doctor told me my eyes were so bad that lasik surgery wouldn't be able to correct my vision. I'm now at that bifocal stage and I'm not even in my prime!! So what's the purpose of needing glasses or contacts if they don't improve your eyesight?

Sometimes my eyes hurt [by my eyebrow bone]

Does that mean that my eyes are worsening, or getting better....?

I do not wear contacts [but sure wish I did.]
I have glasses, but do not wear them.
I wear makeup to school everyday [eye liner and eyeshadow, sometimes mascara], but on vacation I do occasionally [mascara and a nude brown eyeshadow.]

Help please!
