What have been the problems? How much of a problem is it? When did it occur? Are you involved in any litigation?

I have a really weird wandering eye. My brain will only focus on one eye at a time and sort of ignore the other one, so the neglected eye will drift off, although it doesn't get fuzzy vision or anything. I thought maybe I had a lazy eye, but usually lazy eye affects one eye and leads to poor vision. However, both of my eyes have equally good vision, it's just that I can't focus using both of them.
What could be causing that, and is there a way to learn to focus both of them at the same time? I was cross-eyed as a child and had to have surgeries - could this have something to do with this?

two days ago i was wearing my contacts. a little after i put them in, my left eye started to get a little red. as this often happens when i am tired, i paid no attention to it, but i checked it a bit later and the bottom half of my iris was outlined in red, and there were red lines running to my eyelid. my eye was also itching. when i woke up the next day it was still red, but a little less red. it is still itching and the red is still around my iris. is this an infection? what should i do about my contacts? should i wear them or throw them away?

Maybe it's a silly question, but I've never had two pairs of updated prescription eyeglasses before. Is it okay to wear one pair on some occassions and another pair on other days? I have noticed that the glasses seem a little different from each other. I can see very well out of either pair, I just kind of feel like the lens shape and the focal points are slightly different. Will it mess up my eyes to go from one to another?

I just recently discovered a grey spot on the white of my daughter's eye. She has an annual exam because she requires glasses. Is this grey spot the Astigmatism the docor is talking about or is it something else? I am going to call in the morning, but I would like to know if this is something to worry about & know what it possibly could be before I call or I won't be able to sleep tonight. It anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

For one thing, I see different colors with each eye. I guess they aren't different colors so much as different shades of the same color.

For instance, if I'm looking at a white wall, and I close my right eye, the wall has a slight bluish gray tint. If I close my left eye and use only my right eye, the white has a slight pinkish tint.

Also, I see weird little black things through my left eye. It's like I have three or four tiny little squiggles. They don't block my vision, and I don't really notice them unless I actually focus on it. But they are permanent, I'm not sure when I first noticed but it's been years. The "squiggles" stay in pretty much the same spot on my eye, too.

I wear glasses, and my left eye is way worse than my right eye. I know I should just ask my eye doctor, but I don't have insurance and I'm afraid of being diagnosed with something terrible.

Please tell me I'm overreacting. :)

That when you get new glasses everything is a little blurry the first day, Only because your eyes are not used to seeing everything more clear than before?? Is this true?

I'm 42 and these are my first glasses. I have problems with my distance vision, astigmatism, and close vision. My doctor said I should wear my glasses all the time. She said I might want progressive lenses but wasn't really sure I needed them. She said I should discuss that with the gal who sells the glasses in the outer office.

I talked about it with the glasses gal and said that I had troubles with my near vision but not terrible (mostly double vision). She said the normal lense would help that. So I got normal glasses for the distance and astigmatism.

Today I got my glasses and everything closer than 5 feet is very blurry. I have to take off my glasses to read the guages on my car, etc. They make my vision much worse. So I can't wear them all the time. I mentioned this to the gal and she said "Well you didn't select the progressive lens". What do I do?

Also when I move my head around with them on everything distorts (expands and contracts) like I'm on acid.

I accidentally spill the anti acne soap I use for my face in my eye. I pushed the bottom to get it and it moved and it went all the spurt right into my eye.

At first it hurted like a crazy, my eye swallowed intermediately, and even I washed off as good as I could, is still hurting me really bad, like if my eye would be full of sand.

The soap bottle doesn´t have any instructions for something like this. It is also a vegan product, with no alcohol or fake colorants, perfums, or artificial products.

What should I do? (I really don´t want to go to the ER )

Thanks!

I got my first glasses at 16. I stopped wearing them. I went to get glasses again at 22 because I could tell a difference in my vision (lots, lots of computer work). The doc was a total jerk. "Look outside, can you read that sign" (huge letters, side of a semi) across the street. I said, "yeah". He said, "well you don't need glasses, but I'll sell you somem if you want. you want contacts, too? I'll sell you some". I was just shocked. I didn't have a spine them and paid (still in shock. I should have walked out). I went for another opinion. That doc (a family friend in my hometown) said I could use some glasses. Now I'm almost 27 and went to the doc again. 20/15 in my left eye (superb) but I could only see about half-way down the chart with my right. I see OK with both but get headaches and have problems driving at night (depth perception). This doc said wear glasses when driving and at work. Do you think he was being patronizing, or do you think I really need them?

I have really dry eyes, and they've been like that for about a year. I went to the eye doctor and she gave me lubricating eye drops that don't seem to help. then my mom suggested putting ice on them because it helps her when she has eye problems...that doesn't seem to help much either. any tips?

I have worn contacts for about 12 years, and recently I have noticed that my left eye is having issue's. When I turn my head or look up at something really quick it is like my eye has trouble catching up with my movements. I wake up and i feel like i am dizzy, I blink my eyes a few times and it stops. I am not sure what is going on, but it is really getting on my nerves. I went to the eye doctor and he could not find anything wrong with my eyes, but this is still bothering me. I am afraid that there is something wrong with me like something serious. Can anyone help????
